Article on Reuters reported that British chipmaker Arm is creating its own semiconductor to demonstrate the potential of its products as it aims to attract new customers and promote growth after its Initial Public Offering (IPO) later this year. The company will collaborate with manufacturing partners to develop the new semiconductor and has set up a new solution engineering team to lead the development of these prototype chips for electronic devices, including mobile devices and laptops. The chip, which Arm has been working on for the past six months, is said to be more advanced than any previous designs. Not only that the company had announced being competition on the market, but they also directly said that their product will be much better than anything existing. However, the chipmaker has no plans to license or sell the product and is only focusing on creating a prototype.
Arm is a significant provider of intellectual property to many chip companies, particularly in the mobile phone industry, and has partnerships with leading chip contract manufacturers. And to anyone’s surprise, recently, Intel announced that it will partner with Arm to enable the production of mobile phone chips and other products using Arm's technology in Intel's factories. Now that could be positive news for both. But as for Intel, there are some bad news. In fact, I believe that this news caused the stock to turn downward. * Company has announced, that they ill stop with production of Bitcoin mining chip series. And given that interest for cryptocurrencies is growing each day, it could prove to be a bad decision from them. However, it is hard to make any statements, I will have to wait some time.
Fundamental analysis was a big win for me, and when I moved to technical analysis, it quickly became clear that this is a buy. The highest price that stock has reached was 64 USD back in March 2021. * Currently, the price is at 30.30 USD per stock, which means that there is potential for growth of more than 100%. [1] I decided to buy stocks of Intel as soon as the market will open.
