The situation circulating around Elon Musk and Twitter is still far from settled. Users have been divided in two groups. Those, who accepted the situation and got the idea, and those, who are designated. The $8 verification monthly fee is a tough information for everyone who was used to a free Twitter. Nevertheless, people discovered German app called Mastodon.
Mastodon is a supplement and looks like a combination of Twitter, Reddit and Discord. Currently the platform has 1,2 million active users and the main argument is decentralization. That means the app runs on blockchain, therefore it cannot be bought by anyone. Mastodon offers five thousand characters per post and instead of heart sign underneath, there is a star.
